18th December, 2008: Senior BJP Leader and Punjab State Chief, BJP Investor Cell Advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal stated that the Jammu and Kashmir Vidhan Sabha Elections illustrates open defiance of Separatism in favour of Nationalism. High voter turnout across the State of Jammu and Kashmir is an assent of People of Jammu and Kashmir in India, its Democracy and a call for the likes of Syed Ali Shah Geelani to pack their bags and request Pakistan for Political asylum. He urged people of Jammu and Kashmir to vote for BJP so as “Sufiana” composite culture of Kashmir could be re-established wherein Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs and Buddhists could co-exist once again in the atmosphere of love and brotherhood. Grewal stated that BJP would ensure resettlement and rehabilitation of over 4 Lac Kashmiri Pandits who have been proclaimed as “Refugees” in their own country.

 

Grewal said that he would start a campaign from “Lal Chowk” of Ameera Kadal constituency and across all constituencies of Jammu and Kashmir till Muzzafarabad Border to educate people of Jammu and Kashmir about the importance of their Right to Vote in favour of democracy to rout Separatist forces. He requested people of Jammu and Kashmir should support BJP and Vote for them in the ongoing State Elections so as peace and normalcy be brought back to the State, Separatist and Traitors be taken to task so as to ensure no mother have to mourn death of her kin and Kashmiri Pandits be brought back to their homes to bring back traditional Sufiana composite culture of Jammu and Kashmir.
