GREWAL ACCEPTS DHANDA CHALLENGE AND DARES HIM TO KEEP HIS WORDS TO RESIGN |

Ludhiana, 10th August, 2008: Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal, Punjab State Chief, BJP Investor Cell accepted the challenge of Harish Rai Dhanda, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Local Bodies and asked him to have courage to resign from his position in Punjab Government as per later’s statement.
Grewal asserted that Dhanda should come clean before questioning his credentials and responsibility. Grewal further said that he had requisite documentary evidence to prove that Dhanda was instrumental in stalling the anti-encroachment drive of Municipal Corporation Ludhiana in Vishwamitter Street, Malerkotla House over a Public Street. He reiterated that Harish Rai Dhanda is also an advocate and a member of District Bar Association, Ludhiana like him and challenged him to appear before the Senior Advocates of District Bar Association, Ludhiana at District Bar Room along with his resignation on any date of his choice and Grewal will also appear with requisite evidence to support his statement along with Media. He said BJP leadership does not ratify his Double Take on the name of Anti-Encroachment Drive wherein on one side he is sheltering the encroachers and on the other side he is spearheading selective anti-encroachment drive in BJP dominated areas. He reiterated that he strongly supports Sh. Sat Pal Gosain, Deputy Speaker, Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Sh. Om Prakash Bhardwaj, BJP District President, Sh Pravin Bansal, Senior Deputy Mayor, Deputy Mayor Shmt Sunita Aggarwal and BJP MC Councillors and asserted that such double speak spoils otherwise seamless SAD-BJP relationship and will not be tolerated. |
