Ludhiana, 15th December, 2008: Bharatiya Janta Party’s top brass have announced Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal (Advocate) as its star campaigner for 6th Phase campaigning in Srinagar Vidhan Sabha Polls. Grewal have been hand picked for the above job after careful introspection by the Central and State Leadership for his active and positive role in uniting and bringing Nationalists under one-umbrella and taking Separatists forces to task during Shri Amarnath Shrine Board Land agitation.Grewal became popular amongst people of Jammu and Kashmir when he called the SASB agitation as an “agitation of Nationalist forces against Separatists”.He was first to expose the unholy nexus of Congress and PDP, which led to the SASB agitation and cost Jammu and Kashmir lives, property and peace.

His addition is expected as a boon for BJP candidates especially in the Hindus and Sikhs dominated areas of Srinagar due to his popularity amongst voters.Replying to a question from a Journalist at his residence before leaving for Srinagar, “Whether he will be endangering his life to campaign at terror hot spots where separatist outfits will be looking for him as he was quite vocal during SASB agitation and that too when his security have been taken back by the Government?” he said that he is a known loyalist of Party and Organization and that he doesn’t cares for anti-National elements and that he will reach out to every Hindu, Muslim and Sikh across Srinagar to ensure support for BJP candidates. Grewal added that people of Jammu and Kashmir have seen the actual face of Congress-PDP combine during their misrule, which was acknowledged more for Corruption, Sex scandals and Poor Governance He stated that he is sure that BJP will form Government in Jammu and Kashmir and people will rout Congress, PDP and National Conference in the upcoming elections.
