| Newly Appointed Bharatiya Janata Party Kisan Morcha National Secretary Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal today demanded a compensation of Rs 3,000 crore for the Flood-hit Punjab and Haryana. While Adressing a District meeting under the Presidentship of BJP Ludhiana President Sh. Rajeev Katana, Grewal said that Congress led UPA, Centre Government should provide Rs. 1,500-crore as flood relief each to Punjab State and Haryana besides giving relief of Rs 25,000 per Acre to the Farmers whose crops were damaged during the recent Floods. |

31st July 2008, Ludhiana Bharatiya Janta Party Investor Cell, Punjab State Chief Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal condemned the serial blasts in Ahmedabad and Banglore. Grewal stated that Congress ruled UPA Government is instrumental and helpful to terror outfits by providing poor intelligence to BJP ruled State Governments. He further stated that the recent blasts have been strategically executed in BJP ruled states of Punjab, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Gujarat only. It has been planned to tarnish party’s image, terrorize people, weaken state economy and diminish its prospects in upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. He corroborated that that BJP under the leadership of Sh. L.K Advani, Leader of Opposition and Sh. Rajnath Singh, National President of BJP were worried about the ulterior designs of these terror outfits and biased Congress Government so they organized advocacy over anti-terrorism through Bharat Surakaha Yatra all over India. Grewal clarified that Congress rout in recent Vidhan Sabha elections of Punjab, Uttranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat and Karnataka have led to frustration of the Congress Party which is now playing shoddy role in sharing important intelligence information with BJP ruled State Governments. He further said that Congress gruesome designs are to stop BJP in upcoming Lok Sabha Elections as these terror attacks will not only tarnish BJP Governments image but also will jeopardize BJP ruled states’ economies and will dampen Development Works with limited funds from Centre Government. Grewal statistically stated that 9 bomb blasts rocked Maninagar, Isanpur, Narol circle, Bapunagar, Hatkeshwar and Sarnagpur Bridge in Industrial Capital of Ahmedabad, yesterday while another high-intensity bomb was defused in Banglore. Just one day before, 9 bomb blasts exploded to terrorize Karnataka, purportedly to jostle growing IT Industry and governance of BJP Government of Karnataka. Similarly, he further stated that 6 serial bomb blasts rocked Jaipur killing over 80 people and injuring hundreds of innocent on 13th May, 2008, timed to spoil the tourism based economy of BJP ruled Rajasthan Government. Another gruesome terror attack was executed at Shingar Cinema, Ludhiana on 14th October, 2007 killing over 6 migrant labourers and injuring 37 others timed to ruin Hosiery based Ludhiana economy which is an important contributor to economy of Punjab ruled by SAD-BJP Government. Two people were killed and 17 injured on 11th October, 2007 when a bomb ripped through the dargah of the Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer, a shrine in Rajasthan venerated by Hindus, Muslims and Christians across northern India. Grewal condemned Congress ruled UPA Government and said that Sonia Gandhi, National President of Congress has become desperate to rule and in this extreme anxiety she have become anti-national which can be further attributed to her Italian origin. |
